Feb. 14, 2014. After yesterday’s winter event, High Country residents awoke to a beautiful Valentine’s Day morning. Temperatures this morning stand at almost 33 degrees at 10:30 a.m. according to Ray’s Weather Center, and the sun is shining bright.

Our publisher Ken Ketchie took this lovely photo of the serene countryside in Foscoe, which looks like most of the High Country does this morning.

It looks like today will be a great day for enjoying the outdoors with friends and family. According to Ray’s Weather Center, the high today is 44 degrees and a bit more snow is expected this evening. Our suggestion is to get out there, build a snowman and have a great day in the snow and the sunshine.
