March 17, 2014. For the past 47 years, Montana Repertory Theatre is one of the oldest touring theatre companies in the country. As part of Appalachian State University’s Performing Arts Series, Montana Rep brings their production of The Miracle Worker to the Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, April 3 at 8 p.m.
The Miracle Worker is the story of Helen Heller, deaf and blind since infancy, who finds her way into the world of knowledge and understanding with the help of Anne Sullivan, her gifted tutor.
In some of the most turbulent and emotion-packed scenes ever presented on the stage, Helen overcomes rage and confusion to triumph over her physical disabilities.
