May 29, 2014. The Boone Bike Rally is back! On May 30-31, the summer Boone Bike Rally will take place at the High Country Fairgrounds.
“We are real excited to get going again,” said Kenny Johnson who organizes the event. “It’s going to be a lot of fun again this year.”
More than 2,000 people came out to last spring’s event, and even more are expected to come this year.
Just like last year, this spring’s rally will feature live music, biker games, competitions, showcases and much more! Live music will be provided by Throw Down Jones, The JJL Band, Problem Child, Shook Lane and DICE.
Biker games have cash prizes so be sure to bring your A-game. The rally is BYOB with no glass bottles allowed.
The schedule of events for the spring 2014 Boone Bike Rally is as follows:
Thursday, May 29
- 12 p.m. – gates open for campers and vendors
Friday, May 30
- 9 a.m. – Gates open – Vendor and Swap Meet opens
- 4:30-6:15 p.m. – Biker Games
- 7-8:45 p.m. – The JJL Band
- 9:30-11 p.m. – Problem Child
Saturday, May 31
- 9 a.m. – Gates open – Vendor and Swap Meet opens
- 10 a.m. – Guide Ride sponsored by Iron Station Thunder
- 12 p.m. – Dunking Booth opens
- 12 p.m. – Ride in Bike Show (People’s choice)
- 2 p.m. – Bike Show winner announced
- 2:30 p.m. – Bike Games sponsored by Tom McGrath’s Law Group
- 4 p.m. – Burnout Pit Competition sponsored by Iron Station Thunder
- 4:30-6:30 p.m. – Shook Lane
- 6:15 – Wet Tee-shirt Contest
- 6:40 – 50/50 Winner Announced
- 6:45-8:30 p.m. DICE
- 9:15-11 p.m. – Throwdown Jones
Tickets for the Boone Bike Rally are available online here. A Friday day pass is $15, a Saturday day pass is $25 and a weekend pass is $30.
Camping for the event is available and tent camping permits are $10 each. If interested in a 30 or 50 amp hookup for an RV, please call Kenny Johnson at 828-733-8060. Only 25 of these sites are available and are on a first come, first served basis. No refunds are available.
