Aug. 6, 2013. If you’re looking for a weekend experience that combines music, arts and inspiration, look no further than The Activation Arts and Music Festival coming to the High Country this weekend, Aug. 9-11.
This “co-creative” event will feature live music, workshops, yoga sessions and much more. This festival is for ages 18 and up, though guests under 18 are permitted with a parent or guardian.
The live music lineup is as follows:
- Aligning Minds
- Henry & The Invisibles
- The Fritz
- Michael Garfield
- Samuel Paradise
- Molly Parti
- Sky Walkers
- …and so many more!
In addition to the copious amounts of live music throughout the weekend, The Activation will also feature sunrise and sunset yoga sessions and workshops to open the mind and spirit.
The Activation Arts and Music Festival will take place at the High Country Motorcycle Club Campground in Ferguson right off of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Camping, which is included in the ticket price, is car-free, so please bring everything you need. The festival also boasts a leave-no-trace policy, which requests that campers bring enough trash bags to keep their litter off of the campground.
Tickets to The Activation are $30 per person, which includes camping.
