Oct. 2, 2014. As fall color continues to creep upon the leaves of the High Country, a noticeable chill will arrive this weekend.

“Temperatures today will reach the 70’s for most of the region (60’s on mountaintops). Enjoy it because we will not be able to say that again in the foreseeable future,” according to RaysWeather.com.

Today is sunny with Friday to be rainy. Then low temperatures drop into the 30’s on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday is mostly cloudy, while Sunday is mostly sunny.
