Aug. 9, 2012. During the early morning hours on Thursday, Aug. 9, a victim was reportedly stabbed on Longhope Road in the Meat Camp community. Watauga Sheriff’s deputies and Watauga Medics were dispatched to the scene.
According to Craig Sullivan, director of Watauga Medics, a call was received at 6:29 a.m. for a man who had wounds to the upper body.
The victim was taken to Watauga Medical Center for treatment at 7:12 a.m. Nor the victim or suspects names have been released as of 11:30 a.m.
Sullivan said he did not think the injury was severe or life threatening.
