The Watauga County Arts Council will hold its second annual Spring Into Summer ArtsFest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 6 at the Blue Ridge ArtSpace, 377 Shadowline Drive in Boone. There will be a variety of artists and arts organizations showing their work, including members of the Potters of the Blue Ridge and several fiber artists from the area.
Artists who are interested in having a booth should check the Arts Council’s website at www.watauga-arts.org for an application form or stop by the Blue Ridge ArtSpace before May 23.
The activities at the ArtsFest will also include hands-on art activities for kids, food and drink provided by members of Boy Scouts Troop 109 and a variety of music beginning at 11 a.m. A silent auction of art work will be held to benefit the Watauga County Arts Council, and there will be free parking across the street. For more information, call the Arts Council at 828-264-1789.
