Itching to play a few rounds at the coveted Grandfather Golf and Country Club? You’re in luck.
The Avery County Chamber of Commerce still has a few spots available for its annual Golf Classic, a Texas scramble tournament slated for Oct. 4.
Registration will take place from 7:30-8:45 a.m. prior to the 9 a.m. shotgun start.
Get in on the fun for $200 per person or $800 per team. Mulligans are available for purchase at $20 each (limited to two per player) and refreshments will be sold, as well.
Lunch on the grill and an awards presentation will follow the tournament play.
Boone Friendship Honda and High Country Polaris will sponsor hole-in-one prizes on the front and back nine.
Sponsor a hole in honor or memory of a loved one for $100.
