It’s a Snowy Saturday Morning in the High Country With 4 to 8 Inches of Snow Accumulations, More On The Way

The High Country woke up to a wintery wonderland Saturday morning with 4 to 8 inches of snow across the area. With temperature in the upper 20s and no wind, it’s a perfect day to get out and enjoy the first snowstorm of the season. Back roads are still snow covered, secondary roads are snowy but passable, and the main roads are becoming more clearer as morning traffic picks up. Ray’s Weather is reporting another 1 to 2 inches is possible this afternoon and then a northwest wind develops tonight carrying with it another possible 2 inches. Skies clear Sunday but it is going to be cold and windy. See Ray’s Weather forecast here.
