Spring officially arrives on Sunday at 12:30 a.m., and as RaysWeather.com noted in its forecast discussion on Friday morning, Mother Nature didn’t get the memo.

“Sunday is mostly cloudy and chilly with snow showers and flurries, lasting until sunrise Monday. Light accumulations will be limited to 3500′ and up. Chilly weather lasts through Monday,” RaysWeather.com notes.

According to an article in the Farmers’ Almanac, this is the “earliest spring of our lives” because of the cumulative consequences of Leap Day. Read more about that here.
