May 13, 2014. Watauga High School senior Patrick Williamson was crowned Mr. WHS during the 14th annual male pageant benefit held last Saturday.
Williamson, who is student body president and student representative on the Watauga County Board of Education, was among 23 participants. The panel of judges was made up of teachers.
Money raised from the pageant will be split up between Corrie Freeman, a cancer-stricken teacher at Hardin Park Elementary, the Earl Johnson family and another family selected by guidance counselors. For more information on the pageant, read a preview article here.
