Two nights of fun down and one to go at the eighth annual Groovy Nights festivities in Blowing Rock, which creates a laughable good time for folks raising money for the Blowing Rock Community Foundation.
The lip syncing shenanigans ensue as a finale to the annual Community Days of fundraising each year.
“The Blowing Rock Community Foundation is doing amazing things
for our great town and area,” said George Wilcox, a Blowing Rock resident. “In its 30 year history, the foundation has given Blowing Rock’s young people scholarships for post high school educations and given grants to many worthwhile causes and
organizations in our town amounting to more than $1 million.”

More about the Blowing Rock Community Foundation
The Blowing Rock Community Foundation was founded in 1985 to raise
funds to be used exclusively for the benefit of the Blowing Rock
Community. The Mission of the Blowing Rock community Foundation is to
raise and award charitable contributions to non-profit organizations
(501 c 3) and scholarships that benefit the Blowing Rock Community. At
present, the fund exceeds $2,000,000 and has been increasing each
year. We are building our endowment fund which helps to fund the Grant
Project Program and Scholarships. Each year, the Community
Foundation’s Board of Trustees approves all Project Grants and
Scholarships based on documented need and merit.
