SATURDAY: Ensemble Stage 2017 Season Continues with Rapunzel Performance for Kids, Last Chance to See The Star Spangled Girl

This Saturday, at 11 a.m., Ensemble Stage will be performing a twist on the classic Rapunzel tale everyone is so familiar with. However, if you think you know the tale, you and your children will be pleasantly surprised to find that this rendition of the fairytale is jam-packed with improvisation, silly hi-jinx and the opportunity for the children in the audience to become involved with the production.

Children of all ages, as well as adults, will find this unique take on the common tale delightful and enjoyable. Tickets for this event are $6 plus tax, and the performance will run for approximately an hour. So, once the play is over, the family will have plenty of time to spend the rest of the day enjoying the beautiful area of Banner Elk.

Along with this, this Saturday is the last chance for anyone in the community to see Ensemble Stage’s production of Neil Simon’s The Star Spangled Girl, a play that began through the theater company on June 16.

Tickets for this performance are $22 for adults, $20 for senior/student/military and $11 for children 16 and under.
