Renowned Nutritional Cookbook Author Jill Dahan To Stop at Watauga Farmers Market on Saturday, Aug. 24

Aug. 15, 2013. Renowned nutritional cookbook author Jill Dahan will visit the Watauga County Farmers’ Market on Saturday, Aug. 24, as a part of her Farmers’ Market tour to promote recipes from her new cookbook, “Starting Fresh,” which focuses on ease, nutrition and fun. 

This Market Tour stop will be followed by a Cooking Class Lunch at Little Pond Farm in Valle Crucis. 

Guests will get a chance to see Dahan cook her recipes and talk about her philosophy on cooking and the importance of nutritious food to a healthy lifestyle. 

On Saturday, Aug. 31, Dahan will participate in a special cooking demo at the Watauga Farmers’ Market at Horn in the West Drive in Boone to showcase her crafted recipes and talk to guests about her new cookbook.
