Register Now for Fall Semester Craft Enrichment Courses at Appalachian State

Registration is now open for the Michael R. Patricelli Craft Enrichment Program at Appalachian State University. Craft Enrichment offers a variety of classes for novices, advanced students or individuals who are ready to explore a new hobby. Some classes begin as soon as Aug. 25 and fill quickly, so early registration is encouraged. Affiliation with the university is not required to register.

The program will offer two new classes this fall: Introduction to Beekeeping and Study with Master Potter Eric Reichard. Perennial favorites oil and acrylic painting, stained glass, bead making (lampworking), digital photography, video production, watercolor painting, weaving, glass fusing and slumping, beginning and intermediate jewelry making, advanced wooden bowl turning, and pottery classes for all skill levels round out the fall schedule.

Costs range from $70 to $195 per class. For most classes, this fee covers the cost of materials, and for weekday classes it also includes parking. Free, convenient parking is available for evening and weekend classes.

Small class sizes provide individual attention from dedicated instructors. Participants use professional-level equipment while honing their skills as a beginner, an intermediate or an advanced artist.
