May 8, 2014. The High Country will flirt with record-high temperatures for May 8 on Thursday afternoon.

RaysWeather.com reported that the temps are expected to be in the low- to mid-80s. Highs on the mountaintops are forecasted to be in the low- to mid-70s.

“We’ll flirt with those numbers today. Enjoy a beautiful May day!” RaysWeather.com noted in its forecast discussion.
