Nov. 10, 2014. Saturday’s Powerball players have the chance to win a $203 million jackpot if taken as an annuity or $126.7 million if taken as a lump sum. The jackpot has rolled since a player in California matched all six numbers in the Sept. 24 drawing to win a $228.5 million jackpot.
Wednesday’s Powerball drawing produced 15,319 winning tickets ranging from $4 to $300 totaling $118,276. The Saturday, Nov. 1 Powerball drawing produced 18,517 winning tickets ranging from $4 to $20,000, totaling $146,600.
Big Winner Report
This week brought more than $24 million in prizes to lottery players across the state. Overall, instant scratch-off players in North Carolina won more than $17.6 million in prizes since Thursday, Oct. 30. During that time, players of draw games won $6.6 million in total prizes.
The biggest winner of the week was Bonnie Gardner, an art teacher at a Fayetteville elementary school. She plans to use the $1 million she won playing the $200 Million Blowout game to help her family. {Read more}
The second big winner was Dorothy Johnson, a homemaker from Fayetteville, who plans to use the $279,598 jackpot she won playing Carolina Cash 5 to pay bills, take a vacation and share with her children and grandchildren. Since a ticket purchased in New York won Tuesday’s jackpot, Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is an estimated $15 million if taken as an annuity or $9 million if taken as a lump sum. In the Oct. 31 Mega Millions drawing, 60,410 tickets won prizes ranging from $1 to $5,000, totaling $131,396. In Tuesday’s drawing, 79,561 tickets won $212,295 in prizes ranging from $1 to $2,000.
MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB Report
Players in the MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB game collected $27,211 in prizes this week, including three prizes of $500. Friday’s top prize is $21 million if taken as an annuity or $12.8 million if taken as a lump sum. If the jackpot is won tonight, 14 additional winners across the country will be chosen to win a $1 million MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB prize.
All or Nothing Report
