Police Seek Public’s Help in Assault Near the Moose Lodge in Boone on Sunday

High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:

Early Sunday, March 29 at around 2 a.m., a 21-year-old Troutman man was assaulted and robbed while visiting the Boone area. The victim was reportedly attending a social event at the Moose Lodge, located at 607 Deerfield Road in Boone, when he was attacked. The victim was struck about the face and body rendering him unconscious. He awoke to find that his money and cell phone had been stolen.

The suspects involved were described as three black males that appeared to be in their early twenties and tall in stature. They were witnessed leaving the area in a small four-door white SUV.
