Where Was Phil? He Kicked It For the Kids at WAMY’s Kickball Tournament on Sunday

This past Sunday, WAMY hosted a kickball tournament, in partnership with the We Can So You Can Foundation, called “Kickin’ It For the Kids.” The tournament took place from 1 – 6 p.m. with all of the proceeds going towards scholarships for WAMY’d summer programming, Mountain Adventures Summer Day Camp. This camp is a 10 week program for High Country youth that provides them with the opportunity to explore and learn in a safe and supportive environment. 

It was an awesome tournament, with a great turn out, and Phil had an amazing time! Ever since he arrived in the High Country, he has been so ecstatic to help us flush out poverty and also overjoyed at being able to participate in other events and fundraiser since he’s been here!

Thanks to everyone who came out and met Phil and participated in the tournament for a good cause!
