Families and friends from far and wide convened along the streets of Boone on Monday for the town’s annual Fourth of July parade.
Decked out in their most patriotic threads, local residents from across the county and visitors from out of state joined together in celebration of the freedoms we enjoy in our great nation and the men and women who fight to protect them.
Military veterans, cool cars, local groups, churches, pageant queens, ASU athletes, political candidates and more made their way through town during the parade. Later, the crowd joined the mayor for cake and refreshments at the Jones House before heading out to Clawson-Burnley Park. From there, festivities continued throughout the evening and concluded with the town’s famous fireworks display.
