May 5, 2014. The 9th annual P.B. Scott’s Reunion Party at Canyons in Blowing Rock over the weekend was a massive success, to say the very least.
More than 150 excited attendees danced the night away to Brice Street on Saturday, May 3.
“People danced all night long,” said Randy Kelly, who coordinates the event.
“The dance floor was just full the entire night. The band was just perfect. Everyone said that Brice Street sounded just as good as they did before.”
“I think people really enjoyed reliving such a great band and great times.”
Guests partied until late in the night.
“The guests wouldn’t let the band stop!” Kelly said. “Back in the heyday, we would book Brice Street for three days at a time on the weekends and we always had tremendous crowds when they played.”
Next year will mark the tenth annual P.B. Scott’s Reunion Party, and Kelly said that it will be a doozy.
“For the tenth, we are going to make a major effort to make it special,” said Kelly. “Everybody should have a great party once a year. We are going to try to get the Spongetones. They closed out P.B. Scott’s for us back in the day, we would love for them to play the tenth anniversary party.”
If you didn’t make it out to the party, check out the photos below and plan to make it next year.
