“NCDOT Now” Weekly Video Update Shines Spotlight on Massive Landslide on N.C. 194 in Avery County

July 30, 2013. N.C. Department of Transportation published its “NCDOT Now,” the department’s weekly video news update yesterday. While the video includes features a new rail switching yard in Greenville and a tour of NC Quick Pass, it also features the relentless rains of Western North Carolina and the impact heavy rainfall has posed on the roads. In particular, the weekly video update shines a spotlight on the massive landslide on N.C. 194 in Avery County.
