Nov. 4, 2013. Since Thursday, Oct. 24, lottery players in North Carolina won more than $19.1 million in prizes. During that time, players of instant scratch-off games won more than $13.4 million. Players of draw games won more than $5.7 million in total prizes.
Tonight’s Mega Millions jackpot is an estimated $87 million if taken as an annuity or $48.4 million if taken as a lump sum. In Tuesday’s drawing, 28,191 tickets won prizes ranging from $1 to $5,000, totaling $74,295. In the Friday, Oct. 25 drawing, 28,370 tickets won $55,711 in prizes ranging from $1 to $1,000.
Weekend Powerball players have the chance to win a $60 million jackpot if taken as an annuity or $35 million if taken as a lump sum. Wednesday’s drawing produced 13,908 winning tickets with prizes from $4 to $1 million for a total of $1,096,757. The Saturday, Oct. 26 Powerball drawing produced 14,943 winning tickets ranging from $4 to $200 totaling $104,839.
