Education Lottery announces 16 instant games to end

The N.C. Education Lottery is announcing the end of 16 instant scratch-off games. The games, listed in the chart below, end effective Friday, Dec. 20, 2013.

In accordance with NCEL policy, all instant game prizes must be claimed within ninety (90) days of the announced end-of-game date. Therefore, all prizes associated with the games listed above must be claimed on or before Mar. 20, 2014.  Claims of $600 up to $99,999 must be made at one of the six regional claim centers before 5 p.m. that day while claims of $100,000 and above must be made at NCEL headquarters before 5 p.m. on that day as well.  Claims that are mailed to the NCEL must be received within 90 days of the official end-of-game date. Postmarks will not satisfy the 90-day requirement.

Education Lottery reminds players of Dec. 12 claims deadline

lotteryThe N.C. Education Lottery reminds its players that a deadline to claim prizes for 15 instant scratch-off games is Thursday, Dec. 12. On August 30, the NCEL officially announced the end of the 15 games. Under NCEL policy, all instant game prizes must be claimed within ninety (90) days of the announced end-of-game date.

Claims under $600 can be made at a lottery retailer before midnight on Dec. 12. Claims of $600 to $99,999 must be made at one of the six regional claims centers before 5 p.m. on Dec. 12, while claims of $100,000 and above must be made at NCEL headquarters in Raleigh before 5 p.m. on that day. Claims that are mailed to the NCEL must be received within 90 days of the official end-of-game date. Postmarks will not satisfy the 90-day requirement.

Prizes on these games must be claimed by Thursday, Dec. 12.
