Modern Automotive recently acquired its first Ford franchise located at 300 New Market Blvd in Boone, NC. The dealership, formerly Boone Ford, has been renamed Modern Ford of Boone. This is Modern’s third dealership in the area.

imagesModern’s decision to add the Ford dealership in the High Country was made because of the attractiveness of the Ford franchise, and Modern’s commitment to the area. According to Omnia Fowler, dealer principal, “We’re very excited to be expanding our footprint in the High Country with such a quality brand, as well as the great group of employees who will be joining our Modern family.”

Modern Ford of Boone will stock approximately 100 New and 150 preowned vehicles, on approximately 6 acres of land. The Service facility has 13 service bays, and will include a quick lube team and diesel service capabilities, as well as heavy duty lifts to accommodate any model. Modern will also focus on significantly increasing the parts inventory.

Omnia Fowler will oversee operations of the dealership, with Jordan Rowan as General Sales Manager. Jordan is a graduate of ASU, and until recently was with Modern Toyota of Boone.

The Ford dealership currently employs approximately 17 staff, with plans to grow that number to approximately 30.

Modern Automotive, established in 1933 in Winston-Salem, NC, is a family-owned business, now including the fourth generation of the Fowler family. The group sells more than 10,000 vehicles per year and has approximately 950 employees. With the addition of the third Boone location, Modern Automotive consists of twelve dealerships, including Modern Chevrolet, Modern Nissan, Modern Toyota, and Modern Infiniti in Winston-Salem, Modern Infiniti in Greensboro, NC, Modern Nissan and Modern Hyundai/Genesis of Concord, NC, Modern Nissan of Lake Norman in Cornelius, NC, Modern Toyota and Modern Subaru of Boone, and Modern Nissan of Hickory, NC.
