Meth, Pot and Moonshine Still Found at Longhope Road Residence in Todd, Three Arrested by WCSO

Sept. 4, 2013. On August 29, narcotics detectives from the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office  executed a search warrant on the residence of 2114 Longhope Road in Todd, in reference to drug activity at the residence observed by detectives. 

During the course of the search warrant, detectives located and seized multiple plastic bags with marijuana, 2 marijuana plants, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a moonshine still.  A firearm was also located in the residence. 

Miller and RashMartin Dwayne Miller, 33, of 2114 Longhope Road, Todd, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, PWISD Marijuana, Manufacture Marijuana, Maintaining a Dwelling CS, Manufacture Non Tax Paid Liquor, Possession of Liquor Equipment, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Miller is a convicted felon and cannot legally possess a firearm.  He was also charged with Possession of a Firearm by Felon.  Miller is currently being held in lieu of a $21,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in District Court on October 31, 2013. 

Michael Ray Rash, 28, of 2114 Longhope Road, Todd, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, PWISD Marijuana, Manufacture Marijuana, Maintaining a Dwelling CS, Manufacture Non Tax Paid Liquor, Possession of Liquor Equipment, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Rash was held in lieu of a $16,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in District Court on October 31, 2013.  Rash has since been released.  

Laurel Allison West, 27, of 2114 Longhope Road, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, PWISD Marijuana, Manufacture Marijuana, Maintaining a Dwelling CS, Manufacture Non Tax Paid Liquor, Possession of Liquor Equipment, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  West is currently being held in lieu of a $16,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in District Court on October 31, 2013. 

West
