Aug. 7, 2013. On Aug. 1, the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division arrested Jason Eli Brown during a traffic stop. Brown, a convicted felon, was found in possession of seven stolen firearms, a stolen flat screen television, two stolen laptops, and additional items that have yet to be verified as stolen.
Brown, 30, of 655 Chestnut Grove Road, was charged with 7 counts of Possession of Firearm by Felon, 4 counts of Possession of Stolen Property, and Driving While License Revoked. Brown was given a $40,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in District Court on August 20, 2013.
