Makoto’s and the Rock will be hosting the second annual charity golf tournament at one of the High Country’s finest golf courses on Tuesday, Sept. 15.
The four person captain’s choice format tournament has a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. that afternoon at the Blowing Rock Country Club. Teams must be registered by Sept. 14.
The event welcomes mixed foursomes and will feature a 50/50 cash raffle, silent auction and great winning team prizes. Registration is $125 per person or $500 for a team of four and includes cart, green fees and dinner. If you do not play golf, anyone may participate as a hole sponsor. Dinner will be held at the Blowing Rock Country Club Lakehouse following the tournament and is being sponsored and provided by Sysco Foodservice. The meal will include NY Strip, Ahi Tuna, Stuffed Chicken, an array of delicious side items and desserts. Six Pence Pub is the leading sponsor.
