Nov. 24, 2014. This week brought more than $20 million in prizes to lottery players across the state. Overall, instant scratch-off players in North Carolina won more than $15.5 million in prizes since Thursday, Nov. 13. During that time, players of draw games won $4.5 million in total prizes.

The biggest win of the week went to Beverly Hall of Leland, who plans to use the $150,000 she won playing the Golden 7’s game to pay off her mortgage. Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is an estimated $43 million if taken as an annuity or $26.1 million if taken as a lump sum. In the Nov. 14 Mega Millions drawing, 23,742 tickets won prizes ranging from $1 to $2,500, totaling $72,171. In Tuesday’s drawing, 21,113 tickets won $42,655 in prizes ranging from $1 to $1,000.
Powerball Report
Saturday’s Powerball players have the chance to win a $70 million jackpot if taken as an annuity or $43.5 million if taken as a lump sum. Wednesday’s Powerball drawing produced 10,800 winning tickets ranging from $4 to $10,000 totaling $84,527. The Saturday, Nov. 15 Powerball drawing produced 11,376 winning tickets ranging from $4 to $200, totaling $69,002.
