May 12, 2014. Since Thursday, May 1, lottery players in North Carolina won more than $22.3 million in prizes including wins of $10,000 to $1 million across 19 towns and cities. During that time, players of instant scratch-off games won more than $17.4 million. Players of draw games won $4.9 million in total prizes.
