Lost Province Brewing Company is pleased to announce that it won eleven medals at the 2017 “Carolina’s Championship of Beer” competition in Hickory, NC. Lost Province Brewing Company won a gold medal for their “Deep Valley Dunkel”, a German-Style Dark Lager. Lost Province Brewing also won an additional eight silver medals and 2 bronze medals. The Gold Medal winner and many of the silver and bronze medal winning beers are currently on tap at the brewery.
The 11th annual competition was held in conjunction with the Hickory Hops Festival in Downtown Hickory, NC, on April 22, 2017, and was sponsored by the Downtown Hickory Association and the Olde Hickory Brewery. Beers from submitting breweries were blind-judged by panels of certified judges, experienced judges and brewers in over 124 categories.
