The Linville Gorge Information Cabin is closing out the 2017 season with a celebration this Saturday, November 4th. Serving over 13,000 visitors so far this year, the cabin is a place for visitors to the area to find information and locals to gather before a hike or trail work day in the Linville Gorge Wilderness Area.

From noon until 3:00pm, recreation specialists from the Forest Service and partner organizations, including Wild South, Southern Appalachian Wilderness Stewards (SAWS), and the Carolina Climbers Coalition, will be on hand to talk about the proposal to improve the sustainability of the trail system in Linville Gorge.
