Come feel the wine between your toes during Linville Falls Winery’s third annual Grape Stomp on Saturday, Sept. 19.
The Grape Stomp has a “festival-like” atmosphere with live music, a food truck, craft purveyors and, of course, fabulous wine made right here in the High Country, according to Linville Falls Winery’s tasting room manager Linda Wiseman.
While the doors open at noon on Saturday for the festivities, Sound Traveler, an “eclectic acoustic” band that plays just about everything, will play from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
Poorman’s BBQ and More will have a food truck set up on the grounds of Linville Falls Winery and will serve homemade pulled BBQ, (exclusive) sausage hoagies with peppers and onions, bake beans, coleslaw, and chilled smoked chicken and smoked turkey salad wraps – all of which features Poorman’s special spices.
In addition to the memories of stomping on some grapes, Liville Falls Winery will offer a memento to take home with you: “Grape Stomp” t-shirts for $14.95.
“It’s a great way to wrap up the harvest,” Wiseman said.
Linville Falls Winery is open seven days a week from noon to 6 p.m.
