Dear Representative Jordan,
As a concerned Watauga County voter, I expect you to speak against and vote against any legislation that weakens the Governor’s position. A power grab after the voters have spoken is a tawdry thing, a move that reflects badly on State Republicans. If you have confidence in the power of ideas, you allow voters an opportunity to comment on legislation and don’t participate in last-minute deals of party politics at its worst.
The legislation to help flood victims is done. You should recommend that the session end quickly and save my taxpayer money.
Sincerely,
Janet Palmer
