Dear Editor
“The man, who produces while others dispose of his product, is a slave.” Ayn Rand
Your worldview rejects any evidence that contracts it. It’s the human condition. Many ‘consumers’ would rather die than be proven wrong. For countless ‘consumers’ emotion prevents reason. People almost always insist on learning the hard way.
‘Consumers’ are buried under stories about threatening enemies: No rational reason is given, and so absurd ones are. They hate us ‘because we’re free’, or want some mysterious revenge. The images presented reinforce ‘consumers’ childlike acceptance of the idea that ‘our’ government is a force for good in the world and any opposition to America must be based on irrational, evil motives. Any head of state opposing the Empire becomes the new Hitler.
America always blames others and you know what you think of people who do that. You know they’re liars but accept their tales. The strategy is always to herd you, one way or another, into their scenario. Opinions aren’t spread by reason, but caught by contagion, and etched in your mind.
Charles Higham’s classic, Trading with the Enemy:
“Suppose the public had discovered that the Chase Bank in Nazi-occupied Paris after Pearl Harbor was doing millions of dollars’ worth of business with the enemy with the full knowledge of the head office in Manhattan [the Rockefeller family among others?] Or that Ford trucks were being built for the German occupation troops in France with authorization from Dearborn, Michigan? Or that Colonel Sosthenes Behn, the head of the international American telephone conglomerate ITT, flew from New York to Madrid to Berne during the war to help improve Hitler’s communications systems and improve the robot bombs that devastated London? Or that ITT built the FockeWulfs that dropped bombs on British and American troops? Or that crucial ball bearings were shipped to Nazi-associated customers in Latin America with the collusion of the vice-chairman of the U.S. War Production Board in partnership with Goering’s cousin in Philadelphia when American forces were desperately short of them? Or that such arrangements were known about in Washington and either sanctioned or deliberately ignored?
In Vietnam an officer famously said he had to destroy Benh Tre to save it. That was a continuation of what must be official policy since the founding of the republic: Indians, Mexicans, Philippineos, South and Central Americans, Germans, Russians, Koreans, Vietnamese, Muslims/Arabs, and each new target, enriching our already wealthy, is applauded by you, who believe the lies told to keep it all going, like America is peace-loving. Why do ‘consumers’ choose to believe proven liars?
Political Conspiracies have been around forever. Machiavelli wrote about it. JFK was on the bad end of one and soon after, when citizens began to catch on, the CIA coined the term: conspiracy theory, to marginalize any opposition to official propaganda. All ‘official’ accounts of extraordinary events remain conspiracy theory until courts have rendered a verdict. None of the crimes of our time have been proven in a neutral court: they’ve been fictionalized by media and government. This leaves us divided and controlled.
The claims of the Libyan government’s ‘killing of its own people’; alleged gas attacks by the Syrian government against its own people; Iraq’s WMD; Russian election interfering, and Iran’s supposed nuclear weapons are some recent examples: each time fearful ‘consumers’ rush to join the chorus without any evidence beyond what the talking heads tell them. Sequential American governments persist in these fictions, with the complicity of the corporate media.
Why would anyone accept America’s commitment to anything when every treaty is broken? ‘Consumers’ have been so dumbed down, and taught to believe delusions; they can’t distinguish the abnormal from the normal.
You tell yourself we’re the greatest country in the world. We certainly have more people in jail, percapita, and in total numbers than any other country in the world including China. We also spend more on the military than most of the world, combined.
You’re proud that we ‘won’ WW2, but consider one easy example: the casualty list; America lost just short of a half million dead, worldwide. Russia lost at least twenty seven million and, the most productive part, the western third of their country, was totally destroyed.
The primary task for ‘our’ government is to protect Americans which is why no responsible government could refuse to pursue a more stable relationship with Russia.
We’re the proven bully. Those who still think we’re admired worldwide, are living seventy years in the past. America has invaded what seems like half of the world. It’s easy to find more truthful history/current events, but you have to dig to find the reality because the old story about ‘our free press’ is also a seventy year old memory.
You tell yourself that we have a ‘free press’. Six corporations own TV, print, radio, controlling what information you access. Google makes access to information that doesn’t conform to what those six corporations present difficult: it won’t allow ‘conspiracy theories’. Utube and Facebook remove ‘conspiracy’ content. Amazon won’t sell books Israel opposes. They’re the arbiters of reality. This means you get all of your ‘news’ from government sources since that’s where ‘our free press’ get theirs. They demonstrate that standing in front of government buildings regurgitating what they were told there by government officials. There are few places to say otherwise, in any equal way which includes the internet since the big boys prevent you being seen there, in the same balance as the TV would have you believe.
The TV says we support the only ‘democracy’ in the mid-east but that lie is obvious to any who investigate what the internet still allows. ‘Consumers’ don’t care to do more than suck the TV news tit to learn what they’re expected to ‘know’ which is a continuation of twelve years in government approved schools. ‘Consumers’ are taught to go along to get along from the start. There’s no neutral education system. You’re taught to join the existing system and support it. Learning skills to change it requires effort.
America/Israel attacks Muslim nations, sending millions of refugees into Europe. This causes tensions which are further aggravated by false flags and ‘fake news’, resulting in increasing acceptance of the police state, hatred of the ‘other’ and exploding anger between the political left and right.
When encountering ‘terrorists’ the order seems to be: Kill them so they can’t talk and contradict our fictional charges against them. Why do they always leave some official ID behind after their execution?
You’re being played. You once had the capacity to detect bullshit. You’re conned by empty sound bites from two dimensional ‘leaders’, Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Trump. Betrayed every few years, you can’t wait for the next gag election. The Empire has rigged every part of your reality.
In most of the world the streets fill for things that go without comment here while you watch TV instead. America acts as if it’s the world’s police but it’s a rogue state that has no respect for any law, or the rights of other nations: you support this by your silence.
The Empire will threaten anyone, anytime and anywhere. It’s part of what makes America exceptional. After 16 years the ‘superpower’ has been unable to defeat a few thousand lightly armed Taliban, who have no air force, tanks, or worldwide intelligence service, and ‘our’ government is courting war with Russia, China, North Korea and Iran. ‘Consumers’ accept this because they’ve been told fighting them there will prevent having to fight them here, as if Syria would invade us.
You quietly accept the status quo; the medical cartel, poisoning thieving corporations, and ‘our’ government that protects it all. The mark of the beast is here with microchip use growing. 1984 rises for most of our daily lives. The biggest monopolies in history own us and you make it happen.
Some speak of knowing God’s wishes ignoring more than two thousand different varieties of Christians in America, each saying they butter their bread on the correct side. The bible speaks about you not being able to know the mind of God. The biblical, render unto Cesar, is used so Christians abandon any challenge to ‘official’ actions because they believe the Bible tells them they must: Napoleon used that trick also.
Don’t forget that God helps those who help themselves. Confirmation bias rules the minds of those who can’t accept any ideas their daddy or TV didn’t provide. TV fiction helps them ignore reality.
‘Consumers’ once trusted ‘our free press’ and some still do. There’s no reason to trust them now. America’s ‘news’ media never reported ‘our’ coup in Ukraine, only repeating the Obama regime’s propaganda, about the ‘democratic revolution’ that overthrew Yanukovych. Bernie and Donald both reflected cynicism at the massive exploitation of ordinary people by our owners and you’ve seen where that’s gone.
The media presents the right as racist and the left as peace-loving ignoring their lying eyes. They create a false problem, like Nazis in Charlottesville based on one guy with a flag, and then bring the solution, which you welcome because you don’t realize that it will be used to solve you. Unproven police accusations become reality: what ever happened to due process? It’s all too convenient. There are really few coincidences. Nationalism is being portrayed as white supremacy by the media and government in furtherance of the ‘new world order’. Much of “the news” is negative towards traditional American ideals and anyone who represents it is attacked. This isn’t coincidence. It’s orchestrated.
