Lees-McRae Named Best Online College in North Carolina & Fourth Most Affordable in State

Lees-McRae College was named no. 1 on a list of Best Online Colleges in North Carolina by OnlineColleges.net. With the distribution of a generous gift aid package to all online students, the institution was also recognized as the no. 4 most affordable online college in the state.

To determine their rankings, OnlineColleges.net looked at factors such as academic quality and reputation, program strength, cost, and student aid. The published list includes distinct attributes of Lees-McRae’s online degree completion programs such as the availability of SALT, a free financial aid assistance that gives students access to money management tools, loan advice and job listings.

Lees-McRae Online offers two-year degree completion programs in Criminal Justice, Elementary Education, Human Services and RN to BSN. Online students account for 26 percent of the total Lees-McRae enrollment.
