This summer has been a hot one, making it hard for everyone to enjoy the sunshine. Luckily, Tweetsie Railroad thought of this ahead of time and left the park open later on Saturdays for the month of July. As the end of this month draws closer, head to Tweetsie for your last chance to experience the park a bit longer than usual on Saturday, July 28.
Tweetsie says, “On these special evenings, the fun continues.” And it does, as the park is opened for 12 hours on these days, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. That’s 12 hours to explore the park and have endless fun.
You’ll have plenty of time to catch a ride or two on Engine No. 12, “Tweetsie”, or Engine No. 190, “Yukon Queen,” and experience the Wild West Train Adventure. You might even find yourself in the middle of a robbery during this train ride.
During Cool Summer Nights, the park will also feature rides at dusk. There is an abundance of rides, with something for all ages. Some of these rides include the Mouse Mine Train, Tweetsie Twister, Turnpike Cruisers, Free Fall, Twist-a-Whirl, and Planes and Helicopters. To see the complete list of riders, follow this link https://tweetsie.com/explore-the-park/rides/.
It’s likely you grew up visiting Tweetsie in the summer and can remember the train rides, food, and other exciting activities. Now, your family can have the time of their life and make summer memories they’ll never forget at this final Cool Summer Night.
Cool Summer Nights is included in the regular ticket price for park admission on Saturday.
