La Quinta Inn to Host Ten Military Veteran Cyclists for BSG and Express Packet Pick-Up

Ron Coldiron, Lead General Manager for Panoramic Hospitality, Inc. announced last week that La Quinta Inn and Suites will be hosting ten Wounded Warriors – Ride to Recovery veterans and their guests for the 16th Annual Blood, Sweat and Gears (BSG) bike race to be held on Saturday, June 25. La Quinta Inn and Suites will also be the host site for the “BSG Express Packet Pick-Up” Friday, June 24 from 7-10 p.m.

The Blood, Sweat and Gears (BSG) bike race showcases the mountain communities of Watauga County; it is a challenging 90 mile loop ride starting and ending at the Valle Crucis Elementary School. Net proceeds from the ride are donated to local charities throughout the High Country. Blood Sweat and Gears is planned and executed by BSG Events, Inc.

Wounded Warriors – Ride 2 Recovery (R2R) is a groundbreaking veterans program that restores hope and purpose in veterans’ lives. Ride 2 Recovery helps connect veterans with riders in the local community.
