March 1, 2013. Today we celebrate our first birthday here at HCPress.com and the winner of our fourth and final birthday giveaway for new Facebook “Likes” is Jennifer Sirois! She was one of several people who “Liked” us between Wednesday morning and Thursday evening and her name was drawn this morning by Donna Sollecito, of SOS Printing. She wins a $50 gift certificate to Haircut 101.

As of noon today, we are up to 2,417 likes. Thanks to everyone who has “Liked” us in the past couple of weeks leading up to our birthday during our giveaways and thanks to all those who have followed us on Facebook all along.
For those who have been long-time followers of us on Facebook, you’re not getting left out of the prize giveaways. Starting on Monday of next week, we will be offering up some great free prizes in a few giveaways to all our 2,400-plus fans, so stay tuned for that.
For the past year, we have been sharing on Facebook our best stories of the day – from breaking news to wild weather stories to upcoming events – and we will never bombard you with so many updates it clutters your news feed. And you can always set your privacy setting as you wish. Our intention is to just keep you updated with breaking news and bulletins as they happen across the High Country.
