SATURDAY Jennifer Nettles to Appear at the Schaefer Center for An Appalachian Summer Festival July 15th

This Saturday, July 15th, Grammy award winner Jennifer Nettles will be performing at Appalachian State’s Schaefer Center as part of An Appalachian Summer Festival. The summer festival occurs every July and features various performances which range from music to theatre and many others.

Nettles rose to fame as the lead vocalist of the duo Sugarland. Since she has released her solo album and won many awards for her singing/songwriting. She has performed with legends such as Bon Jovi, Beyonce and John Legend, only to name a few. Nettles is much more than just a singer but an actress as well. She has taken the Broadway stage in the musical Chicago and played Dolly Parton’s mother in Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love. Nettles’ musical performance this weekend is a can’t miss event as well as a great opportunity An Appalachian Summer Festival has given to the High Country.
