NOAA is reporting that we have another snow system moving through the area today bringing moderate snowfall until early evening. Winds will pick up this evening with gust up to 40 to 50 MPH – creating a blowing snow scenario that could lead to hazardous road conditions once again. As of noon today the main roads are clear. Pictured above is Hwy. 105 near Ingles leading into Boone. We could see another 2 to 3 inches of snow today on top of the 4 to 6 inches already on the ground. Temperatures should remain in the upper 20’s.
