March 29, 2013. Honey Bear Campground located in Boone is hosting a Easter Eggstravaganza that features more than 1,500 eggs with cash and candy prizes. The hunt, which is free, takes place on Saturday, March 30, from 11 to 3 p.m. and community members are welcome. At 3 p.m. a rubber duckie race starts; a $1 entry fee makes the pot and winner takes all.
