A mobile home at 370 Arnett Hollow Road is a total loss after burning down on Wednesday afternoon.
Watauga County Assistant Fire Marshal Taylor Marsh said that the home was engulfed by the time first arriving units arrived on the scene. Cove Creek Volunteer Fire Department was among several departments that responded to the structure fire at about 3:30 p.m.
Marsh said that the home, which included an addition, is a total loss. However, nobody was injured in the fire.
Marsh said the fire is still under investigation.
