Located on U.S. Highway 321 near Tweetsie Railroad, High Gravity Adventures first opened its challenge courses to the public in April of last year. Since then, countless local families and guests to the area have stopped by to check out the various adventure courses, which feature aerial bridge walks, tight-rope walks, floating foot lops and giant spider webs, some as high as 50 feet off the ground.

Safely connected to built-in steel cables and supported by full-body harnesses, those who take on the challenge courses get to see the High Country from a whole new perspective atop this towering adventure park.

The 2016 adventure season begins on Friday, March 18, and HGA is offering a special discount for folks who purchase tickets and passes before March 17.

“High Gravity Adventures is an ideal destination for anyone wanting to experience an active, exhilarating outdoor adventure while visiting Blowing Rock and the High Country,” HGA President Ken Jacquot said in a recent release. “We’re excited to welcome both new and returning climbers for another exciting season of vertical adventure.”

Looking Ahead

HGA is ready to help you get some air this summer in the High Country. It’s also looking forward to making new friends as it grows in the future, and has even brought on a team of pros from the French/West/Vaughn public relations firm to help it tap into new markets and drawn in new customers.

“FWV’s breadth of experience in the travel and tourism space is extensive and will be a huge asset for High Gravity Adventures as we build our brand,” Jacquot said in a recent statement from French/West/Vaughn. “The agency’s expertise will be especially valuable as we seek to reach people outside of the immediate Boone/Blowing Rock area.”

High Gravity Adventures is located at 215 Tweetsie Railroad in Blowing Rock. For more information, check out highgravityadventures.com or send an email to info@highgravityadventures.com.
