High Gravity Adventure To Host July 28 Ribbon Cutting for New Three-Person Giant Swing

High Gravity Adventures is hosting a grand opening for its new addition to the aerial adventure course next to Tweetsie Railroad: a three-person giant swing that reaches up to 45 feet in the air.

The Boone Area Chamber of Commerce will partake in the ribbon cutting and Lost Province Brewery will be on hand to provide complimentary beverages. The ribbon cutting is set for Thursday, July 28, at 4:30 p.m.

Here’s how High Gravity Adventures describes the new offering:

High Gravity Adventures’ Three-Person Giant Swing can get you up to 45 feet in the air!  You’ll be outfitted in a harness and helmet, pulled up to the top of the swing (or as high as you would like to go) and then you’ll pull the rip-cord to self-release the swing.

Ready for this? For a moment, you are weightless and then you accelerate through double gravity as you soar through the air and towards our Blue Ridge Course!  Scream or wave hello to your friends before plunging backwards in the air again.  This experience includes one ticket, good for two swings on our Giant Swing.

Each participant must have their own ticket and up to three people can ride on the Giant Swing at one time.  Participants must be at least 48 inches tall and weigh 265 lbs or less.  Juniors ages 7-10 must swing with an adult, and Young Adults ages 11-13 must have an adult present on-site.
