The 14th annual High Country Wedding Expo, presented by A.C.E.S. – the Association of Consultants and Event Services – will be unveiled this Sunday, March 3rd at the ASU Summit Trail Solarium from 1 to 4 p.m. The wedding expo is the perfect place for all current, future and dreaming-to-be brides to visit all her prospective wedding vendors in one space.

Attendees will get to see the dresses, taste the cakes, hear the music and smell the flowers all while benefitting their neighbors in need as 100 percent of admission ($8 or 5 canned/dry good items) goes directly to Hospitality House.

ACES-Expo-2013-Facebook-adThis year’s expo also serves as the kickoff event for the Hospitality House Feinstein Challenge, running from March 1 to April 30. Hospitality House has once again partnered with the Alan Shawn Feinstein Foundation, who will divide $1 million among hunger-fighting organizations across America, to help fight hunger in the High Country.  At the conclusion of the challenge, Hospitality House will receive a partial match grant from the Feinstein Foundation based on the amount of funds & food raised during this time. During the challenge each food item is counted $1 and every dollar is eligible for the partial matching funds.

“It is important to A.C.E.S. that we give back to our community”, states A.C.E.S. President Elizabeth Hempfling. “While the High Country is home to some of the most scenic locales and experienced wedding professionals we also have an extremely high rate of poverty. Positioning the wedding expo as a hunger-relief event is our way of helping to bridge that gap and provide some much needed assistance.”
