High Country Crime Stoppers Tip Leads To Arrest of Three Suspects Stealing From Walmart

Nov. 27. 2013. On Sept. 13, at approximately 1:00 p.m., a white male and a white female entered into Walmart and proceeded to collaborate in the theft of over $1,500 in merchandise.  Among the items stolen were two Hewlett Packard computers, a Keurig coffee maker, a microwave and other household items. The suspects loaded the merchandise into a blue, four-door sedan and then left the area. 

With the assistance of High Country Crime Stoppers, Boone Police identified the white male as Mickey Dwayne Williams, age 30, of Wilkesboro, NC, and the white female as Elizabeth “Beth” Pearl Williams, age 23, also of Wilkesboro, NC.  Further investigation also revealed a third suspect, Michael Edward Ayers, age 44, of Wilkesboro, NC.

On Oct. 17, Michael Edward Ayers was arrested and charged with two counts of Felony Larceny From A Merchant and one count of Felony Larceny.  Mr. Ayers was taken before a Wilkes County magistrate, assigned a court date of January 28, 2014, and placed under a $10,000 secured bond. 

On Nov. 2, Mickey Dwayne Williams was arrested and charged with two counts of Felony Larceny From A Merchant, one count of Felony Larceny and one count of Misdemeanor Second Degree Trespassing.  Mr. Williams was taken before a Wilkes County magistrate, assigned a court date of January 14, 2014, and placed under a $5,500 secured bond.  

On Nov. 25, Elizabeth “Beth” Pearl Williams was arrested and charged with two counts of Felony Larceny From A Merchant and one count of Felony Larceny.  Ms. Williams was taken before a Wilkes County magistrate, assigned a court date of Jan. 21, 2014 and placed under a $5,000 secured bond.
