High Country Crime Stoppers: Bobcat Excavator Stolen, Break-In at Capone’s Pizza

On Monday, October 2, the Boone Police Department received a report of a stolen excavator from the area of 204 Meadowview Drive.

On Monday, October 2, the Boone Police Department received a report of a stolen excavator from the area of 204 Meadowview Drive. The Bobcat brand mini excavator was white in color and was secured on a black trailer. The trailer and Bobcat were reportedly stolen between the hours of 5 pm on Friday, Sept. 29 and 1:00 pm on Sunday, Oct. 1.

On Saturday, Sept. 30, at around 8 a.m., the Boone Police Department received a report of a break-in at Capone’s Pizza, located at 139 New Market Centre in Boone. Between the hours of 12:00 am and 8:00 am, someone smashed the front door glass and stole a register from the business. In addition to the property damage, there was an undisclosed amount of money stolen.
