Heritage Hall Theatre Presents ‘A Taste of the Nutcracker’ As Final Production of the 2014 Season

Dec. 11, 2014. This weekend, Hertitage Hall in Mountain City, Tenn. will present the final production of 2014, and announces the next upcoming shows for the spring 2015 season.

“A Taste of the Nutcracker,” will be presented on Friday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door and $5 for students for this classic holiday fantasy story presented by the East Tennessee Youth Ballet.

Started in 2005, Heritage Hall Theatre has been providing the community with quality entertainment for all ages.   The theater itself can hold 388 spectators and is dedicated to presenting a variety of performances as well as hosting numerous community events throughout the year.

The first few shows in the spring 2015 lineup have just been announced. Upcoming shows include the following:

Heritage Hall will present “An Old Fashioned Christmas” on Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 6:30 p.m. The show is presented by the Mountain City Elementary School 5th and 6th graders and is free and open for the public to attend.

On Thursday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m., the Barter Players will present “Anna of Green Gables.” Tickets for the show are $5 per person.

“Always a Bridesmaid” will premiere on Friday, March 13, and will show again March 14, 15, 20 and 21 at the theatre. The show will be presented by Johnson County Community Theatre and tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door and $5 for students with valid ID. The showtimes are 7 p.m. on March 13, 14, 20 and 21 and 3 p.m. on March 15.

Kody Norris and the Watauga Mountain Boys will perform on Saturday, May 16, at 7 p.m. Tickets for the show are $10 in advance, $12 at the door and $5 for students.
