Nov. 7, 2014. This season, Heritage Hall Theatre in Mountain City, Tenn. offers yet another great lineup of concerts, plays, musicals and more. To kick off the winter 2014 programming season, Heritage Hall will host a Veteran’s Day program on Tuesday, Nov. 11, starting at 11 a.m. Admission to the program is free.
But this is just one of the many, many shows that will appear at Heritage Hall Theatre this fall. Check out the rest of the lineup below!
On Tuesday, Nov. 18, Heritage Hall Theatre will host a show that puts a modern twist on a perennial holiday favorite – Frosty, presented by Barter Players. Frosty follows the adventures of a young boy whose snowman magically comes to life. The duo embark on a New York City adventure to find the real magic of Christmas. The show will take place at 7 p.m., and tickets are just $5 per person.
The ETSU Bluegrass Pride Band will perform at Heritage Hall on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. The band was founded in 1981 and is currently the oldest program of its kind at any four-year institution, according to its website.
Heritage Hall will present the Johnson County High School Players’ rendition of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” just in time for the holidays. The show will take the stage Dec. 5-7. Tickets for the show are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
Another holiday classic, “A Taste of the Nutcracker,” will be presented on Friday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door and $5 for students for this classic holiday fantasy story presented by the East Tennessee Youth Ballet.
Started in 2005, Heritage Hall Theatre has been providing the community with quality entertainment for all ages. The theater itself can hold 388 spectators and is dedicated to presenting a variety of performances as well as hosting numerous community events throughout the year.
